OurPROCESS

Our process at Estarc is designed to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience from concept to completion. Through a collaborative approach, we focus on capturing each client’s vision while emphasizing quality and attention to detail at every stage. Watch the video below to see how we bring each project to life, blending creativity with precision to deliver spaces that are both functional and inspiring.

01.

Initial Client Conversation

  • Consultation: The process begins with an intensive, multi-day planning period where we meet with the client to exchange ideas and explore possibilities. During this phase, the client's needs and objectives are identified, and discussions are held regarding the specific functions of the space, user requirements, and furniture needs.
  • Site Visit: Conduct a site visit to take measurements, photos, and assess the space. This helps in understanding the context and constraints of the project.
  • Briefing: Develop a comprehensive project brief that encapsulates the client's requirements, objectives, and vision for the project.

02.

Planning & Concept Development

  • Schematic Design: Develop initial space planning and furniture layouts, considering circulation patterns, minimum clearances, and the integration of natural elements like landscape, sun, views, and topography.
  • Visual Dialogue: Use hand-drawn sketches to establish a visual dialogue with the client, ensuring alignment of vision and ideas.
  • Conceptual Roadmap: Create a visual roadmap that serves as a guide for the upcoming stages, laying down the foundation for the project's aesthetics and functionality.

03.

Sketches and Ideation

  • Design Refinement: Further develop the schematic design into detailed floor plans, sections, and elevations with accurate dimensions.
  • Material & Finish Selection: Define the palette of materials, finishes, and design elements that will give the space its unique personality. This includes details such as the location of windows and doors, colors, material treatments, and finishes.
  • Client Presentation: Present the refined design to the client, incorporating all necessary details, and obtain approval.

04.

Design Development and Documentation

  • Client Revisions: Incorporate any client feedback and make adjustments to the design as needed.
  • Technical Documentation: Translate the approved design into detailed technical documentation, ensuring that contractors have clear and precise instructions for execution.
  • Cost Estimation: Provide a detailed cost estimate for the project, including all materials, labor, and associated costs.

05.

Execution & Project Management

  • Procurement & Coordination: Order all materials, furniture, and fixtures as per the finalized design. Coordinate with skilled craftsmen and professionals to ensure quality, pricing, and scheduling are optimized.
  • On-Site Supervision: Regularly visit the job site to oversee the work, ensuring it aligns with the design intent and progresses on schedule.
  • Client Meetings: Maintain regular communication with the client, addressing any concerns and providing updates on the project's progress.
  • Installation: Coordinate the delivery and installation of furniture, furnishings, accessories, and artwork to complete the space.

06.

Handover

  • Final Inspection: Conduct a thorough inspection with the client to ensure all work has been completed to their satisfaction.
  • Snag List Resolution: Address any minor issues identified during the final inspection to ensure a flawless finish.
  • Project Handover: Hand over the completed space, along with all relevant documentation, keys, and maintenance guides.
